Nicholas E. Kasmer

Mr. Kasmer graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in political science from Northern Illinois University in the Spring of 2003. While there he authored a thesis on the Death Penalty in America. Mr. Kasmer then attended Law School at Chicago-Kent College of Law graduating in the Spring of 2006 with a certificate in labor and employment law. While at Kent, he won the CALI awards in Personal Income Tax and Employment Relationships and was also a member of the Dean’s honor list several times. Mr. Kasmer was also an organized labor scholarship recipient while at Kent. Prior to coming to the firm, he worked for the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees in Wisconsin representing Unions and employees in a variety of capacities including arbitration hearings, prohibited practices, collective bargaining, and administrative hearings. Mr. Kasmer is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Wisconsin as well as the Northern District of Illinois.
